On view October 17- November 14th
OPENING RECEPTION / GUIDED TOURS
OCT 17th 5-7 pm

Please join us for an opening reception and guided tours by Emily Ward Bivens, CRp, Mid North East regional representative of the Dr. R.F.L. Foundation on Saturday October 17th 5-7 pm.
The exhibition explores the life and work of Dr. Lupenheimen and offers insight into his intriguing combination of dentistry and psychiatry. This exhibit has been made possible with the generosity of the Dr. R. F. L. Foundation. Garnered from two treasure troves of evidence found 2562.99 miles apart, this exhibition offers reconstructed dialog between the doctor and his long-time patient, Barbara, artifacts from the doctor’s office, and artifacts from Barbara’s hidden closet donkey alter.  A reconstruction of the donkey that Barbara created in her hidden closet donkey alter will be erected on-site.

Contributions to the Dr. R.F.L. Foundation capital campaign will help fund a permanent location for the exhibition and the publishing of Dr. Lupenheimen’s romance novel based on the dreams Barbra discusses in her postal correspondence therapy sessions.
